Supported Employment
Byron Bay Herb Nursery provides employment and training opportunities for people* with a disability who require on-going support to work. We have a range of businesses including; plant nursery, garden maintenance, composting, mushroom farming, packaging and native bee keeping. *Participants must have NDIS supported employment funding. Weekday Daytime – TTP (1:1 $64.04 p/hour).

Yard and Garden Maintenance

Byron Bay Herb Nursery provides yard and garden maintenance services to NDIS participants who have funding for House And/Or Yard Maintenance. Services include gardening, mowing, brushcutting, edging, weeding, mulching and green-waste and rubbish removal.

Assistance With Daily Personal Activities at Work

Our professionally qualified staff can provide extra one on one support and skill development in areas such as eating & drinking, personal hygene, toileting and mobility while you are at work. Employees will need NDIS funding in their core supports for Assistance With Self-Care Activities – Standard – Weekday Daytime – TTP ($64.04 p/hour).

Wholesale Nursery
Byron Bay Herb Nursery sells high quality herbs, seedlings, flowering, compost, worms to retail nurseries, landscapers, farmers and the community. We are open to the public 8.30am* – 4.30pm Tues – Fri.

Education
Our friendly staff are highly experienced and qualified and have a wealth of knowledge. They are able to provide you with all the tips and tricks that you need to make your herb garden happen. All staff have specialist skills and can assist you with garden design and construction, plant selection, companion planting and maintenance.
